David is part of our firm's pharmaceutical drug and medical device litigation team. He currently represents clients who were injured by defective hip implant devices including DePuy ASR and Pinnacle, Biomet M2a, Wright Conserve, Zimmer Durom, and Stryker Rejuvenate. He also represents clients who were injured by Testosterone Replacement Therapy drugs and is involved in representing clients who were injured by the drugs Actos and Reglan, and individuals injured by exposure to gadolinium-based contrast agents.
In addition to representing individual clients, David is a vital part of the firm’s work on plaintiffs’ leadership committees in state and federal courts, such as the Testosterone Replacement Therapy litigation, the DePuy Pinnacle litigation, and the DePuy ASR litigation. David’s work includes legal analysis and writing related to discovery disputes and settlement negotiations, preparation of expert witnesses, and preparation for the depositions of adverse witnesses.
David's previous experience includes complex tort litigation such as the VIOXX® and the Ford/Firestone SUV rollover cases, and consumer rights and employment class actions. Prior to becoming an attorney, David was a research chemist in the pharmaceutical drug-development industry where he contributed to the development of an advanced pharmaceutical drug candidate. His work was featured in peer-reviewed articles and is protected in numerous patents where David is one of the inventors.
David received his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Law in 2007, and his B.S. in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley in 2001.
